Looking for a comfortable, cozy, and convenient place to stay on your next cycling trip? the hotel we stayed at during our recent trip was in a beautiful location right on the canal. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast was delicious. the hotel also had great facilities and amenities, including a lovely restaurant and bar downstairs and plenty of parking.

Close proximity to Assen circuit. Clean and tidy. Breakfast plentiful.

Not many restaurants in town and the hotels menu too expensive. Didnt use hotels car park because it is too small and encouraged damage to cars.

The front of hotel very gd. The food was great with a nice breakfast. The hotel was very clean and the service was very good and very helpful. There were parking spaces and an entrance at the rear. The breakfast buffet was nice and copious, and the dinner at the restaurant was recommendable. The staff was courteous and helpful. Oosterwolde is a very nice town with beautiful houses.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I have stayed here before but this time it was winter, the price was very good with an excellent breakfast included. Dinner in the restaurant was OK too. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a big bath and lots of hot water. The girl on reception was very friendly and helpful.To be recommended.

Because of it's convenience and pleasant service etc., and it's the only hotel in Oosterwolde, I broke my normal rule of not staying in hotels which charge for Wifi. The Fletcher Group has a high price internet policy which they should scrap. It's an out of date, no-cost rip-off!

ODD smell in the bedroom I believe the hotel is aware of this as I found windows were left opened when I got into the room.

Clean, fresh and nice. The location is right in the town centre, but easily accessible by car. For my morning run I could follow the nice bike paths around the surrounding Friesland countryside.

We loved the breakfast spread, helpful staff, and billiards facility. The town's canal and beautiful houses were impressive.

All good. Town itself very quiet but hotel great for what we wanted. The hotel is a 20 minute drive to the circuit of Assen. Very clean place that suited us fine.O T

The price quoted from bookings.com was 100euro's less than the final bill, of which there was nothing to be added ie roomservice ect...

The Hotel De Zon in the charming town of Oosterwolde is a hidden gem. We were pleasantly surprised by the value for money we received during our stay. The prices were reasonable and affordable, especially given the basic but comfortable rooms provided. The hotel's attention to detail is evident, with rooms in good condition and even a bath for added relaxation. The location of this hotel, right on the canal, adds to the overall appeal and provides a picturesque setting for guests to enjoy.

No improvements necessary, everything was great.

The Hotel is located in the centre of a samll town, all shop and other Restaurant nearby. The Hotel Restaurant was nice and had good menues

I got the feeling that my and my coworkers room are the worthest ones. The room was cold, the heating did not work. The windows are not proof and iI always got that felleing I should close them. I herard the goose in the neighbours geese in the night and the one in the next room snooring. We asked for breakfast bat 6:30 or at latest 7:00, but this was not poossible. Offical breakfast time is from 8 to 10. The clerk at the desk offereed us a package instead., but´at least I got charged with 7,50 € per day for getting a "lunchpaket" instaed of breakfast. Never again!!!!!!!
